About Rwanda Medical Supply Ltd (RMS)

Rwanda Medical Supply Ltd is a state-owned enterprise established by the Government of Rwanda to manage the country's health supply chain from end to end. RMS is responsible for ensuring that hospitals, health centres, and community health posts across Rwanda have consistent, reliable access to quality medical products — including medicines, vaccines, laboratory supplies, and medical equipment.

RMS operates with an ambitious vision: to become the leading health supply chain institution in Africa by 2030, ensuring the availability and affordability of quality-assured health commodities for all Rwandans. The company works closely with the Ministry of Health, the Rwanda Biomedical Centre, district hospitals, and international health partners.

Joining RMS means being part of an institution that sits at the intersection of public health and logistics — one whose work directly determines whether a patient in a rural health post receives the medication they need, or whether a laboratory technician has the supplies to run a test. The stakes are high, and so is the sense of purpose.
